Hi, I’m Pete,
I’ve been a Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist since 2007, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of clients achieve their goals and transform their lives.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 14 years as an electrical engineer, then transitioned into roles that gave me deep insights into human behavior. I served as a Prison Officer for over five years, followed by a 15-year career as a UK Police Officer. Throughout these roles, I developed a strong desire to help others feel safe, secure, and empowered. It was here that I honed my skills in problem-solving and investigation, abilities that are now fundamental in my work as a therapist.
Initially, I was skeptical about hypnosis—like many, I didn’t fully understand its power and potential. But over the years, I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact that hypnosis and therapy can have, transforming my clients’ thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in ways that are often permanent and life-changing.
Today, I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, phobias, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I’ve worked with countless individuals, including former colleagues, emergency service workers, and military personnel, helping them overcome challenges and achieve lasting healing. While these are my specialties, I’m always open to discussing any issue a client is facing and providing a clear, honest assessment of what’s possible.
In my pursuit of being the best therapist I can be, I’ve completed extensive training in various modalities. I hold advanced Post-Graduate Diplomas in Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Counselling. I’ve also earned certifications in Complete Mind Therapy, Rewind Technique, Trauma Risk Management, conversational hypnosis, rapid inductions, and stage and street hypnosis. Currently, I’m studying Rapid Transformational Therapy to further expand my skill set.
I’ve written several therapy modules focusing on phobias and anxiety, and I’m proud to hold Lifetime Accreditation with the British Association of Systemic Psychotherapy and Counselling.
I strongly believe in a “give without take” philosophy. To date, I’ve provided over £150,000 worth of therapy free of charge to individuals who needed help but couldn’t afford it. I’m dedicated to offering support wherever possible, regardless of a person’s financial situation.
